About The Position
We're looking for a hands-on creative leader who blends brand craft, performance insight, systems thinking, and production excellence. This is not an agency oversight role or a purely brand aesthetic role — this is an operator role. You will concept, design, direct, produce, and ship high-impact creative that elevates the brand and drives measurable revenue across channels.
You will lead the Brand Content Production Stream , collaborating closely with:
- Paid Content Production Stream (performance creative team)
- Organic Content Production Stream (with dotted-line creative oversight)
- Content Production Team (executive creative producer — the “how” behind content creation)
- Digital Product Team (web, CRO, mobile app, landing pages)
- Physical Product Team (devices, consumables, topicals)
- Growth Strategy (integrated promo calendar)
This role sits at the center of our 2026 Content Engine, responsible for building the systems, templates, guidelines, and creative direction that power fast, aligned content production across the company.
You will own the work yourself, supported by one outsourced designer and an existing AD contractor (currently focused on email creative and available as an additional execution lever). This role requires a highly resourceful operator — someone who can close skill gaps using a combination of AI-driven workflows, external freelance partners (editors, motion designers, retouchers, illustrators), and smart systems.
While we are not opposed to adding headcount when it truly unlocks growth, additional hiring is a second-order solution, not the first.
What you'll do:
Brand Content Production Stream Leadership
- Own all brand creative tied to the integrated promo calendar.
- Develop brand storytelling systems for launches, campaigns, promos, and product narratives.
- Build scalable static + motion templates that support Paid, Organic, and Brand streams.
- Set and evolve the creative vision to strengthen brand equity, trust, and conversion.
- Deliver high-quality brand content across web, app, email, retail, packaging, and social.
- Creative Guidelines + Design Systems
- Influence and refine every part of the company's visual and creative ecosystem:
- Brand Guidelines: visual identity, tone, typography, layout, design language.
- Creative Guidelines: templates, motion frameworks, video structure, hook systems.
- Digital Product Guidelines: LP/PDP creative expression, UI/UX creative direction, CRO-driven storytelling.
- Physical Product Guidelines: packaging design, unboxing, inserts, product identity, visual hierarchy.
- Your responsibility is to unify the brand across every touchpoint and build systems the team can scale.
- Support for Digital & Physical Product Teams
- Digital Product Team (web, CRO, mobile app, LPs)
- Create high-performing visuals for CRO experiments and on-site storytelling.
- Build modular landing page creative systems for speed and iteration.
- Physical Product Team (devices, supplements, topicals)
- Own packaging design for new and existing products.
- Produce product marketing assets for launches, retail, ads, education, and in-box experiences.
- Elevate the physical brand experience with best-in-class creative.
- Elevate Performance Creative (Without Hurting Performance)
- Partner with the performance creative team to improve output without sacrificing ROAS, CTR, CVR, or CPA .
- Provide brand-forward frameworks, modular templates, video structures, static systems, and challenger concepts.
- Use data signals to iterate hooks, angles, storylines, and creative approaches.
- Improve creative diagnostics and testing methodology across channels.
- Hands-On Creative Execution
- You will personally:
- Concept, storyboard, design, animate, and art direct high-impact creative.
- Produce brand films, product videos, static ads, social visuals, and LP creative.
- Direct quarterly hero shoots and modular capture shoots.
- Build aesthetic clarity across campaigns, PDPs, LPs, and engine-wide visuals.
- This role is 70–80% hands-on .
- Production Leadership (with the Executive Creative Producer)
- Ensure concept → script → pre-production → shoot → edit → deploy is fast, tight, and high-quality.
- Improve the production flywheel to make Brand, Paid, and Organic content streams more efficient.
- Ensure clear briefs, visual references, storyboards, and shot lists for execution.
- Ensure modular asset capture that serves all streams simultaneously.
- AI-Driven Creative & Content Production
- AI is a production lever , not just an ideation tool.
- You will:
- Build an AI-first content production stream that generates video roughs, storyboards, layouts, animation explorations, and asset variations.
- Use AI to accelerate versioning, production volume, and cost efficiency.
- Integrate AI workflows into the content flywheel to unlock speed and scale.
- Use tools like Midjourney, Runway, Pika, Stable Video, Sora, Veo, and Canva's AI workflows.

The ideal candidate has:
- Are a hands-on creative with mastery across static, motion, and video
- Are equally comfortable in brand storytelling and performance-driven creative
- Design for speed, clarity, and testing — not for ego
- Have experience with packaging and physical product creative
- Understand how creative affects conversion, CVR, and funnel performance
- Are fluent in modern AI creative tools and workflows
- Can operate autonomously and build creative foundations from scratch
- Have a network of freelancers you can activate immediately for specialized skills
- Think in systems — templates, libraries, frameworks, guidelines
- Thrive in fast-moving DTC environments with constant iteration
- Hold an extremely high bar for craft, clarity, and execution

- Not a brand-only or aesthetic-first creative director
- Not a manager-only role — this is a hands-on maker role
- Not an agency liaison role — you are the creative engine
- Not a role that waits for briefs — you create the brief
- Not a performance-only creative role
- Not a 9–5 role — content production moves fast and requires flexibility
