Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team at our client's hotel in St. Julians. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience while maintaining high standards of drink preparation and service. You will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks, providing guests with a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring the bar area is clean and well-organized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with hotel standards.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring exceptional service.
• Take beverage orders from guests and provide recommendations when needed.
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area, including washing glassware, replenishing supplies, and taking inventory.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
• Work as part of a team to create a positive and welcoming environment for guests.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of popular cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to alcohol service is a plus.
