We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** Seeking a **Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)** to join our laboratory team who will foster an environment of teamwork, quality and safety for our patients. We want you to apply now! **What You Will Do In This Role:** · You will perform manual and automated test procedures. · You will accurately report laboratory results, to include special calculations and critical values. · You will perform a broad range of laboratory procedures or concentrates your activities in one area such as chemistry, hematology, and microbiology. · You will answer inquiries regarding tests, methodology, test specificity and sensitivity. · You will evaluate and solve problems related to the collection and processing of biological specimens for analysis. · You will work efficiently and respond to stats and other priority tests to provide optimum patient care. **What Qualifications You Will Need:** · Associate Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Technology (MLT/CLT) from an accredited institution. · Or be qualified under CLIA guidelines for MLT/CLT. · MLT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred. · Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
