As a Registered Nurse (RN) focused on pediatric home healthcare, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering specialized care to our young client. Collaborating closely with the child and their family, you’ll ensure that their medical and emotional needs are met with warmth and expertise. This position offers a flexible schedule, perfect for those committed to providing top-notch care in a nurturing home environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric clients during the shift. 
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the child’s physician. 

• Monitor and assess the child's health status, including vital signs and response to treatment. 

• Manage and provide care for any medical equipment or devices the child may need. 

• Educate and empower families in managing their child’s health needs and care routines. 

• Document all care activities and observations with accuracy and attention to detail. Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or changes in the child’s condition.

Requirements To Join Our Team:

• A minimum of one year of current pediatric RN experience in an acute care setting, home care experience a plus!
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Valid NYS RN License
• Valid BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Physical exam within the past year
• PPD or QuantiFERON within the past year or chest x-ray within the past five years
• MMR Immunizations within the past ten years
• Covid Vaccination
