This position is not eligible for telework. Applicant will be required to work in the Tallahassee Office located at 1801 Hermitage Blvd.
Interview will consist of: Oral interview questions and work samples. Work samples will be answered using Microsoft Word and Excel.
The hiring range for this position is $ 42,561.57 - $ 45,000.00.
Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.
Due to the job duties of this position, the work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include the following REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures. Knowledge of banking practices and procedures. Knowledge of the methods of data collection. Knowledge of and ability to use Word and Excel applications. Ability to prepare financial statements and reports. Ability to review, analyze and evaluate data. Ability to analyze and review accounting policies, principles, standards and procedures. Ability to prepare and maintain a variety of accounting records. Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to banking practices. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments. Ability to work independently. Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with agencies and vendors. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team structure.
