Role specifics and benefits:
As an Endoscopy RN, you’ll lead or assist during endoscopic procedures, contribute to patient safety, and uphold the highest standards of aseptic technique. Your responsibilities include comprehensive pre-procedure assessment and consent, establishing IV access when needed, monitoring sedation and vital signs, assisting the GI team with scope advancement and interventions, and ensuring meticulous documentation in the electronic medical record. You’ll prepare rooms, manage equipment, monitor recovery, and deliver clear, compassionate post-procedure education to patients and families.
